With the goal of strengthening San Miguel de Allende’s international presence and attracting new investment and tourism opportunities, Mayor Mauricio Trejo will lead a working tour of Texas from March 26 to 28, along with a delegation of representatives from the public and private sectors.
During his visit to the Woodlands and Houston, the mayor will hold strategic meetings with authorities, business leaders, and the media, reaffirming the importance of San Miguel de Allende as a high-level tourist and cultural destination.
Twinning with the Woodlands and Presence in Houston
One of the key moments of the tour will be the signing of the collaboration agreement with the Woodlands, strengthening the relationship between the two cities and promoting cultural and tourism exchanges.
In addition, as part of the San Miguel de Allende Around the World campaign, the Deriva Floral art installation will be unveiled in Houston’s prestigious River Oaks District, following its successful tour in Madrid.
The work itinerary includes several key meetings and activities:
March 28: Meetings with entrepreneurs and tourism industry leaders, as well as an immersive experience where tourism service providers will present San Miguel de Allende’s offerings to tour operators, media, and event organizers in Houston.
Accompanying the mayor will be a delegation made up of representatives from the tourism and business sectors. With this tour, San Miguel de Allende reaffirms its position as an international benchmark for Guanajuato, positioning itself not only as a high-impact tourism destination but also as a strategic center for investment and economic development in the state.
