To keep recreational areas clean, the head of the Cabo San Lucas Public Services Coordination, Roberto Sandoval Montaño, reported that staff from that agency are cleaning 52 parks and green areas, creating open and safe spaces for citizens.
He also reported that an average of 20 people are responsible for this work Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., reinforcing cleaning with weeding, pruning, and general dredging inside and outside the parks.
Sandoval Montaño also specified that in addition to these efforts, crews from the Parks and Green Areas department collaborate on Saturday cleanup sessions, such as the one implemented for the past two months on Prolongación Leona Vicario Avenue, which began at the bridge and has now advanced to the entrance to the Caribe INVI neighborhood.
“The goal is to reach the Cabo San Lucas Airport area, return along Misioneros Avenue to clear and collect trash, and then move to Nicolás Tamaral Avenue,” he explained.
