During the month of March, the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Trust was present in Denver, Dallas, and Washington, D.C., the venues for the Travel & Adventure Show, a traveling tourism expo held in various cities across the United States.
With the participation of leading destinations, tour operators, cruise lines, and suppliers from around the world, the event attracts agents and end consumers seeking reliable booking options at competitive prices.
Among Puerto Vallarta’s attractions highlighted were its hotel offerings, its more than fifty outdoor activities, the many traditional events held each year, and its extensive culinary offerings featuring around forty cuisines from around the world.
Emphasis was also placed on the destination’s excellent air connectivity with the United States: from Denver via daily direct routes operated by United Airlines, Southwest, and Frontier, and from Dallas with American Airlines and Frontier.
The market segments that showed the greatest interest in visiting Puerto Vallarta during the spring and summer seasons were families, solo travelers, couples, and cruise passengers who had made a stopover in the destination on previous trips and wanted to return to explore it further.
The destination was joined by the Buenaventura Grand, Hacienda Buenaventura, Villa Premiere, Plaza Pelícanos, Pelícanos Grand, Sunset Plaza, Almar, and Al Sol resorts, which offered special packages and prices to the general public and additional discounts for travel agents.
