Mérida is preparing a cool sweet treat as the “Heladiza Fest” arrives at Parque de la Paz. The festival promises a delightful experience with a variety of ice cream, popsicles, and ice cream vendors coming together to offer an array of flavors.
From classic favorites like coconut, corn, and chocolate to local specialties and unique combinations such as liqueur-infused or marshmallow-topped ice creams, there’s something for every palate. Quelado ice cream shop is particularly known for its flamed ice creams, which are sure to be a hit at the festival.
The Heladiza Fest organizers, Jésica Marín and Iván Puc, announced that the event will take place next Sunday, April 20th, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., with free admission for all attendees. The extended hours are designed to ensure that no one leaves without trying some of the delicious ice cream on offer.
In addition to the ice cream vendors, the festival will also feature a range of desserts and sweets to complement your cool treats. For animal lovers, a dog catwalk will be set up, and musical performances will provide entertainment for all ages.
