The Business Coordinating Council ranks San Luis Potosí ninth in terms of job openings for deported compatriots.
The Business Coordinating Council reported that San Luis Potosí is ninth in terms of job openings for repatriated compatriots. In this regard, Governor Ricardo Gallardo Cardona reaffirmed his support for the “Mexico Te Abraza” program.
He explained that, together with the government he leads, the people of San Luis Potosí are building a San Luis Potosí with economic growth that requires the experience and courage of compatriots who have been repatriated and who are participating in the “Mexico Te Abraza” federal employment program.
With 2,380 job openings available, San Luis Potosí ranks ninth among the country’s 32 states, with Nuevo León at the top of the list, followed by Mexico City, the State of Mexico, Jalisco, Guanajuato, Baja California, Coahuila, Querétaro, and Puebla in tenth place.
According to the Business Coordinating Council, salary ranges vary depending on the required job profile and the applicants’ profile; for operational positions, salaries range from 8,480 to 16,860 pesos; for specialized technical positions, they range from 16,000 to 32,000 pesos; and for professionals, salaries exceed 40,000 pesos per month.
Gallardo Cardona stated that labor policy is being strengthened and specified that the state was recognized by the National Employment Service (SNE) as one of the five best in the country in meeting federal goals and indicators.
Last March, 2,282 new formal jobs were created, bringing the total number of insured workers to 491,265, a historic record for the state.
