Vacation period boosts the economy in the Municipality of Querétaro.

The Querétaro Municipality Tourism Secretariat, through its head, Mariana Ortiz Cabrera, announced expectations for the current Easter and Holy Week holiday period, highlighting a significant influx of visitors and a significant economic impact for the Querétaro capital.
According to projections, between 195,000 and 200,000 tourists are expected to visit the state during this period, representing an excellent opportunity to strengthen the local economy. In the Querétaro capital, hotel occupancy could be close to 60 percent, reflecting the interest and preference of national and international tourists to enjoy the city’s cultural, gastronomic, and heritage riches.
Furthermore, an economic impact exceeding 950 million pesos is expected, a figure that reaffirms the importance of the holiday periods for the development and dynamism of the city’s tourism sector.
The Tourism Secretariat will continue working together with the sector to strengthen the tourism value chain and maintain Querétaro as a leading destination nationwide.
