Three new young tourists from the state capital who traveled to Mazatlán for the summer vacation were reported missing by the “Sabuesos Guerreras” collective. They are Erick Mijali Villegas, 22, Efrain Ramirez Ruiz, 22, and Alonso Arredondo Zazueta, 21.
An investigation is underway to determine whether their disappearance is related to the discovery of a Ford Mustang abandoned with gunshot wounds in the same area where they were allegedly kidnapped.
These new disappearances in the port are in addition to a similar incident reported by the State Commission for the Search for Persons on April 7, related to the reported disappearances of brothers Santiago and Enrique Sánchez Rodríguez, 18 and 28 years old, and José Isaías García Rosey, 23.
Regarding the three young residents of the city of Culiacán who traveled to Mazatlán this coming week to enjoy their vacation, it is known that they were deprived of their liberty on Paseo Atlántico Avenue.
Their information was released by the search group in the hope that citizens can provide information that will allow them to be located safely.
Last week, it was announced that the tourists, originally from San Juan del Río, Querétaro, traveled in their van to the beaches of Mazatlán on April 3rd to spend a pleasant weekend before the Easter holiday period. According to their families, their stay was pleasant.
Last Monday, their families were notified that they had begun their return to San Juan del Río, Querétaro. The last communication with them was at 7:00 p.m. that day, as they were entering the Concordia municipality bypass.
The State Commission for the Search for Persons issued location records for the three men. Santiago Sánchez Rodríguez is described as 18 years old, 1.70 meters tall, of medium build, and has a tattoo of Judas Thaddeus on his left forearm.
His brother Carlos Enrique is 28 years old, 1.90 meters tall, of robust build, and has several tattoos on his body, including the letter “i” and the figure of a female warrior with a sword and a Pegasus-type horse with half of his face.
José Isaías García Rosey, 23, is 1.70 meters tall, of robust build, with a round face, semi-permanent eyebrows, and no tattoos.
