More than 22,000 visitors are expected to visit Puebla’s museums during Holy Week.

The government of the state of Puebla invites the local population and tourists to visit and enjoy the state’s museum heritage, which preserves a wide variety of spaces that tell the story of history, provide identity, and a rich cultural legacy.

Puebla Museums offers visitors exhibitions, cultural, and artistic events that have been prepared for the conviviality of visitors. These spaces are open to people of all ages.

In the city of Puebla, as well as in Tehuacán and San Andrés Cholula, activities are held that highlight the art, history, traditions, and culture of Puebla.

In the city of Puebla, the following can be visited: the Museum of the Mexican Revolution, the Serdán Brothers House, the Alfeñique House, the José Luis Bello y González Museum, the Palafoxiana Library, the San Pedro Museum of Art, the Cathedral Treasures Gallery, and the Santa Rosa Ex-Convent Art Museum. The Erasto Cortés Workshop Museum, the Museum of Evolution, the International Baroque Museum, the Interactive Museum of the Battle of May 5th, and the Mexican Army Museum.

As well as the La Constancia Mexicana Museum Complex, which houses eight museums, including the Puebla Automobile Museum, the Juan Crisóstomo Méndez Photo Library, the Puppet House of Mexican Marionettes, the Vicente Teódulo Mendoza Record Library, the Mexican Music Museum, the La Constancia Mexicana “Esteban de Antuñano” Textile Museum, the Children’s Museum, and the Vienna Museum.

The Puebla Museums are open on Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Fridays through Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
