On Tuesday morning, an image of an alleged “narco-banner” found near San José del Cabo International Airport began circulating on social media and local media. It contains threats directed at security personnel at various levels of government.
So far, authorities have not issued an official statement or confirmed the veracity of this discovery. Meanwhile, unofficial sources indicate that it may be a message related to conflicts between criminal groups.
It should be noted that last Friday, the appearance of a banner with similar messages, allegedly linked to disputes between criminal organizations, was also reported in the city of La Paz.
