The Search for Peace Collective locates five clandestine graves in Baja California Sur.
The discovery site had been previously secured by authorities.
Gabriel Manríquez, leader of the Collective, reported that the work was carried out in coordination with the State Commission for the Search for Persons and the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for Forced Disappearances.
Relatives of missing persons are conducting searches in various areas of the state; the most recent has been in the municipality of La Paz, with around twenty remains located.
