The home of the man who chased a construction worker who was eating on the sidewalk outside his home was vandalized with graffiti early Friday morning.

The house, located on Cruz Lizárraga Avenue, was found with its facade covered in graffiti, including the nicknames or popularly known “license plates” “Strak,” “Rex,” “Capu,” “Cuate,” “Bye,” “Locos MX,” “Tras,” and “Clabe,” which could be key to identifying those responsible.

The action comes two days after a video went viral showing the property owner forcing a construction worker to get up from his planter and leave his sidewalk, despite the man only eating his food.

The scene sparked reactions on social media, and dozens of people gathered at the site Wednesday afternoon to demonstrate “peacefully.”

Some arrived with cameras, while others drove by in vehicles honking their horns or revving their motorcycles to create noise. The protest, which began peacefully, escalated within minutes, with eggs thrown at the house, kicking the gate, and leaving visible damage.

This Friday, the attack was repeated in the form of graffiti, and so far, authorities have not reported whether any complaints have been filed for damage or if an investigation will be opened.
