As part of the Ricardo Castro City Festival, the Municipal Government offered Durango children a magical and colorful evening with a performance by the Mexican company Circo Dragón. Thousands of attendees gathered in the iconic plaza to witness the staging of “Peter and the Lost Dreams,” a reinterpretation of the classic Peter Pan.

The show, designed to celebrate Children’s Day, combined dance, acrobatics, music, and circus elements, wrapped in an internationally renowned visual production, a hallmark of Circo Dragón, a company with 15 years of experience.

The presentation of “Peter and the Lost Dreams” invited attendees to immerse themselves in a magical adventure, interacting with the characters and letting their imaginations run wild. This event is part of the Ricardo Castro Festival’s family program, which seeks to promote art, culture, and values among new generations.

Alma Nájera, one of the attendees who came with her children, expressed her satisfaction with the show, noting that “I’ve never seen a show like this. Besides being beautiful, it leaves us with a great message.” She emphasized the importance of this type of event as an opportunity for family unity through art and culture.

The Ricardo Castro Festival is in its final phase and will culminate next Sunday, April 27, with a performance by the renowned norteño group Los Invasores de Nuevo León.
