The body of a woman was found floating in the sea in the bay of this port in Puerto Mío.
The incident was reported around 10:00 a.m. this Friday when authorities arrived at the scene.
Public Safety and the Navy carried out the rescue of the body, which was wearing only a black swimsuit.
Following the legal proceedings, the female remains were transferred by the Forensic Medical Service (Semefo) as an unknown, pending identification by her relatives.
