The state program “Tu Casa, Tu Apoyo” (Your House, Your Support) is already underway in San Luis Potosí, and promises to change the lives of thousands of families. Promoted by Governor Ricardo Gallardo Cardona, this plan offers free land to individuals as part of a strategy to combat the housing shortage.
How to register for the Tu Casa, Tu Apoyo program?
To be included in the beneficiary registry, interested parties must appear in person; there is no link to register online, and the process is free, with no need for agents or intermediaries.
The Secretariat of Social and Regional Development (Sedesore) is responsible for receiving documentation from interested parties. Registration is entirely in person and takes place directly at its offices, located at Ignacio Aldama #330, downtown San Luis Potosí, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The head of Sedesore, Rosario Martínez Galarza, told local media that the registration period will remain open until the end of April, as the allocation of most lots in different areas of the state will begin in May.
Who can register for the Your House, Your Support program?
This benefit is aimed at residents of San Luis Potosí who:
Do not own real estate
Do not have access to public or private loans to purchase a home
Furthermore, the program prioritizes women, especially those who are dedicated to homemaking and do not own their own home. In fact, 70% of the lots will be designated for female beneficiaries.
Once the process is completed, the Regularization and Social Housing Institute (Inrevis) will verify the information. The delivery of the first lots will begin in May, many of which will be located in Ciudad Satélite and other developable areas of the state.
