Yucatán is set to make a significant impact at the 49th edition of the Tourism Fair, scheduled to take place from April 28 to May 1 in Tijuana, Baja California. A total of 41 companies from the state will participate in this prestigious event.

Darío Flota Ocampo, Secretary of Tourism Development, announced that the Yucatán pavilion will feature six municipalities, including Mérida, as well as four magical towns. The pavilion will also host representatives from Cultur, the Yucatán Hotel Association, Canaco-Servytur, the Tourism Business Council, tour operators, tourism promotion agencies, transportation companies, and 17 hotels.

Flota Ocampo highlighted some key changes for this year’s fair, noting that all state pavilions will adopt a uniform design to reduce costs. Additionally, the distribution of food and beverages on the exhibition floor has been prohibited, though a designated food court will be available outside the venue.

Yucatán’s participation in the event will require an investment of 7 million pesos, underscoring the state’s commitment to showcasing its tourism potential on a national and international stage.
