Raffles Hotels & Resorts, Accor’s luxury brand, has chosen Los Cabos for its debut in Mexico. The property is planned to open in 2029 with 80 rooms and 46 residences in the initial phase of development.
The luxury hotel will be located on a pristine stretch of beach in the East Cape community of Los Cabos, one hour from Los Cabos International Airport. It will offer views of the desert landscape between the Sea of Cortez and the Sierra de la Laguna Mountains, the ocean, and a swimmable beach for water sports and exploring marine life.
Raffles Estera East Cape will feature a spa, outdoor pools, a beachfront water sports center, a kids’ and teens’ club, and exclusive retail offerings. It will offer seven different restaurants, a lobby lounge, a pool bar, and a gourmet café, as well as a dedicated Raffles Long Bar and Writer’s Bar.
Additionally, the property will feature a state-of-the-art ballroom, outdoor meeting and event rooms, and spaces for elegant gatherings or important celebrations.
The interior design will be by Studio Paolo Ferrari, and the residences by Huber Design. The resort will also reflect Raffles and ONE Development Group’s commitment to sustainability.
It was recently announced that the luxury hotel brand Rixos Hotels, part of Accor’s Ennismore collection, is coming to Mexico to debut in Cancún, Puerto Vallarta, and Cozumel. (Milestone: Rixos debuts in Cancún, Vallarta, and Cozumel).
These three projects will be renovations to the standards of Rixos Hotels, which has been in the luxury market for over a decade and is evolving the all-inclusive segment.
