A case of bestiality went viral on social media after a public complaint showed a person penetrating a dog on a rooftop. The complaint stated that the person was a resident of Tuxtla Gutiérrez.
The City Council located the location and placed the animal under shelter, although no traces were found indicating it was the victim. However, after a video showing the incident was released, the City Council acted to follow up on the case.
“As soon as the incident became known, the Municipal Health Department, through the Department of Health Risk Prevention, went to the scene and assessed the pet. With updated information, the City Council reports that it rescued the dog and placed it in a safe place, providing the necessary care, in accordance with the operating protocol,” it said in a statement.
Furthermore, it was revealed that the alleged perpetrator is a 12-year-old minor. Therefore, the City Council’s Legal Department will follow up on the case with psychological counseling and legal support, with the authorization of his parents.
This case shocked Tuxtla Gutiérrez society due to the cruelty depicted in the images, prompting the Tuxtla Gutiérrez City Council to take action to find the perpetrator.
