Renowned American lawyer Jessica Rossman died on April 1 in Puerto Vallarta while undergoing cosmetic surgery. Now, her family is demanding clarity from the authorities and justice for what happened.
According to the international media outlet DailyMail, Rossman—known for her executive position at United Airlines—traveled to the tourist destination early last month to undergo a procedure at a dermatology clinic specializing in Botox, dermal fillers, and other anti-aging treatments.
According to the information released, her partner reported her missing after noticing that she had not returned home to Puerto Vallarta. It was several days later that her brother, Lucho Rossman, was informed of Jessica’s death.
“Our heads are spinning, and we are very suspicious of many things (…) Jessica went into a dermatology clinic and ended up in a morgue. We need to know what happened,” Lucho told the DailyMail.
The victim’s brother reported that, until a few weeks ago, the family had not received clear information about the cause of death.

According to the death certificate, Jessica Rossman died of pulmonary edema and arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy.
However, the situation has become critical because family members claim that the body was cremated while still in Mexico, despite their request that it be transferred to Houston, United States, for an independent autopsy.
The case gained relevance a month after her death, as the investigation into the cause of her death remains open, while family members remain unsure and demand clear answers.
