Querétaro Municipal Police officers arrested two alleged criminals in Santa Rosa Jáuregui. They were disarmed by their victim, who was apparently trying to rob him of his belongings while riding a horse.
The Querétaro Municipal Security Department reported that they responded to the La Solana community after receiving reports of two people on a horse, apparently chasing a woman.
Upon arrival, they observed a woman running and reported that the two men on the horse had attempted to attack her with a sharp object, allegedly to rob her of her belongings. However, she managed to avoid the attack and injured one of the suspects with the same object.
The officers implemented an operation and located the two men fleeing on the horse. The officers signaled them to stop, but they ignored them.
Subsequently, upon observing the security detail, the person riding on the back of the horse dismounted and ran into someone else’s home. He was arrested after entering the house with the owner’s permission, while the other man was detained in a hilly area.
The two men were taken into custody by the State Attorney General’s Office to determine their legal status.
