Emirates announced that it is accelerating its recruitment efforts in Mexico to meet the sharp increase in customer demand. Therefore, the airline will hold recruitment sessions for experienced pilots in Mexico City starting June 3.

The flag carrier of the United Arab Emirates announced that it will hold the recruitment sessions in Mexico City on June 3 and 4 at the NH Collection Centro Histórico hotel located at 42 Palma Street, Centro Histórico.

The airline indicated that there will be three sessions: on Monday, June 3, at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., and on Tuesday, June 4, at 10:00 a.m. for experienced pilots interested in joining Emirates as Type-Rated/Non-Type-Rated First Officers, Direct-Entry Captains, or through the Accelerated Command Program.

It clarified that pre-registration is not mandatory, although it is recommended to do so through the website https://www.emiratesgroupcareers.com/pilots/.

The airline indicated that interested pilots can attend any of the three available sessions. During the event, they will learn in depth about Emirates’ selection process, available vacancies, training programs, career development within the airline, and the benefits package.

In addition, it added, they will be able to speak directly with active Emirates pilots to learn about their experience firsthand.

Last year, Emirates announced significant changes to its pilot recruitment, including higher salaries, new roles, and a radical change in eligibility.

“Emirates pilots fly one of the world’s youngest and most modern widebody fleets to more than 148 destinations worldwide. They will have the opportunity to receive robust in-house training at Emirates’ state-of-the-art training facilities and will also be based in the vibrant city of Dubai,” said Scott Lantz, Emirates Country Manager.

“We look forward to having more pilots from Mexico onboard our airline as we grow our operations globally,” he added.

As part of its approach to attracting talent, Emirates offers its pilots a highly competitive benefits package, including tax-free salary, 42 days of annual leave with airfare for the pilot and their immediate family, company-provided accommodation in gated communities, educational support for children, and medical, dental, and life insurance.

In addition to attractive travel discounts for family and friends.
