By intervening in Well 26 “A” to restore its water production capacity, the Puerto Vallarta water utility, Seapal Vallarta, is intensifying its actions to cope with the city’s dry season. At the direction of Mayor Luis Munguía, Seapal Vallarta has intensified its actions to address the dry season, carrying out a corrective intervention on Well 26 “A” with the goal of restoring its production capacity and simultaneously extending the useful life of its equipment.
The work increased the supply source’s output from 12 to 20 liters per second, which will be beneficial for increasing the availability of water to neighborhoods in the northern area of Puerto Vallarta. During the work carried out by the Drinking Water Production Department, the electromechanical equipment was maintained to ensure the pump operates more efficiently and thus maximize the use of this infrastructure located in the Las Gaviotas neighborhood.
The organization, under the management of Carlos Ruiz, will continue to take action on various fronts to improve service and also reinforces the call for responsible use of the resource, as well as for the availability and functionality of water storage tanks and cisterns.
