A passenger bus on the Huamantla-Puebla route was robbed by three armed individuals in the municipality of Ixtenco, around 6:30 p.m. this Saturday, May 10.
The attackers boarded the bus near the Banco del Bienestar and, after threatening the passengers with firearms, robbed them of their belongings.
One of the passengers was injured after refusing to hand over his valuables. Despite 911 calls, authorities did not arrive at the scene. The attackers fled in a black pickup truck to an unknown destination after getting off the bus on the Ixtenco-Huamantla highway, near the community of Los Pilares, in Huamantla.
