A shocking discovery has been made in the municipality of Bacalar, Quintana Roo, Mexico. During an operation conducted by authorities from all three levels of government, human skeletal remains were found, suggesting the presence of a mass extermination site.

According to reports, last Wednesday, search operations for missing persons were carried out in the rural communities of Reforma, Limones, and Miguel Alemán. The investigation was sparked after an article by journalist Cintia Canul, published on Meganews, highlighted the discovery of what appears to be a grim extermination camp.

Human bone remains, bullet casings, and burnt items, including t-shirts, shorts, and cell phones, were discovered near the community of Limones. The area had been previously identified as a site of criminal activity, where individuals had been brutally killed by being burned alive.

The investigation is ongoing, with authorities from various government agencies working together to uncover the truth behind these atrocities. Dog teams trained in detecting human evidence are also assisting in the search.

The State Attorney General’s Office has collected the remains and evidence for forensic analysis at the scene. The operation involves members of the Secretariat of Citizen Security, the Secretariat of the Navy (Semar), the Secretariat of National Defense (Defense), the National Guard, and the Quintana Roo State Commission for the Search for Persons.

As the investigation continues to advance, authorities remain committed to uncovering the truth behind these tragic events and ensuring justice is served for the victims and their families. The case serves as a stark reminder of the importance of combating human rights abuses and upholding the rule of law in Mexico.
