Puerto Vallarta continues to consolidate its position as one of Mexico’s most attractive tourist destinations. As a testament to this, American Airlines and Air Canada announced an increase in their flight frequencies to this destination for the upcoming 2025-2026 winter season. This decision responds to the growing interest of tourists from the United States and Canada in enjoying the climate, beaches, and hospitality of Puerto Vallarta.

American Airlines, which currently operates routes to Puerto Vallarta from cities such as Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, and Phoenix, announced that it will increase its flight frequency from Chicago to twice daily from December 18 to January 6. This measure seeks to facilitate the flow of tourists from the American Midwest during the holiday season.

For its part, Air Canada confirmed that its route from Vancouver will have daily flights throughout the winter season. This decision reflects the sustained increase in Canadian travelers choosing Puerto Vallarta as a destination to escape the cold and enjoy a warm and safe experience on the Mexican Pacific coast.

With this increase in air connectivity, Puerto Vallarta strengthens its position as a top international destination. Local authorities and tourism entrepreneurs celebrated the announcement, as it promises a winter season with high occupancy and significant economic benefits for the region.
