How to get to Playa Lo de Marcos from Mexico City?
By plane. Fly from Mexico City to Puerto Vallarta International Airport. The trip takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. From there, take a bus or taxi to Lo de Marcos (approximately one hour). Round-trip tickets range from $1,700 to $2,680, according to estimates from Kayak.
By car. The route from Mexico City is about 796 kilometers (about 9 hours). You’ll pass through Querétaro, Guanajuato, Guadalajara, and arrive in Riviera Nayarit. The one-way toll is around $1,380, according to the Point-to-Point Routes platform.
By bus. The trip takes between 10 and 15 hours. Companies such as ETN, Primera Plus, Futura, Vallarta Plus, and TAP depart from the capital. One-way fares range from $1,000 to $2,500.
