Lo de Marcos Beach has begun to gain recognition. Between marine wildlife sightings, crazy surfers, and tourists looking for a new beach to explore, this Riviera Nayarit destination could become your next getaway.
Why is it called Lo de Marcos Beach?
Lo de Marcos Beach is located in the municipality of Bahía de Banderas, in the Riviera Nayarit. It’s the kind of place where you don’t need a long itinerary; you just want to be near the ocean and eat delicious food.
Its name holds a curious history. It is said that decades ago, these lands were owned by a man named Marcos, a lieutenant.
When someone wanted to visit the place, it was common to hear the phrase “let’s go to Marcos,” as if visiting the house of a close friend.
What are the attractions of Lo de Marcos Beach?
