Governor Mauricio Kuri González announced through a video on social media the start of registration for the 2025 Querétaro Marathon, which will be held on October 5 in the state capital. He expects more than 20,000 runners to participate in the 5, 10, 21, and 42-kilometer distances.
Through the video, the state governor emphasized that he is ready, prepared, and willing for Querétaro’s great sporting event, which is known for bringing together children, youth, adults, and entire families. He announced that registration can be completed starting May 11 on the official website www.queretaromaraton.com.
“Really, give it your all and let’s make this a great party and go out to support our athletes, our brothers, our friends, our children, and let’s make Querétaro the Querétaro we all want: a Querétaro of family,” he noted.
Mauricio Kuri stated that, thanks to his international certification, the times recorded in this competition can be used to qualify for the Boston Marathon. He also emphasized that the costs will be the same as in 2024, and the official event shirt will continue to be Adidas.
