A 5.8 magnitude earthquake shook Cihuatlán, Puerto Vallarta, and Cabo Corrientes in the state of Jalisco, according to state Civil Protection.

The National Seismological Service (SSN) reported that the earthquake occurred at 2:43 p.m. with its epicenter 275 kilometers west of Cihuatlán, Jalisco. The earthquake measured 5.8 magnitude and occurred at a depth of 5 kilometers.
Jalisco Civil Protection reported that no damage has been reported.
