Mexican Army personnel seized a drone flying erratically in the municipality of Rosario, Sinaloa.
During ground reconnaissance in the town of Pánuco, military personnel detected the presence of a drone performing unusual maneuvers in the airspace. Given this situation, the corresponding protocols were activated, and through the use of specialized equipment, the device was inhibited and shot down.
Authorities have not yet reported the origin of the drone or its possible target.
These actions are being carried out in coordination with the National Guard, the Navy, the Ministry of Security and Citizen Protection, the Attorney General’s Office, the State Attorney General’s Office, and the State Public Security Secretariat.
