Mazatlán Rafael Buena International Airport continues to see a decline in passenger arrivals, registering a 7.5 percent decrease in April compared to the same period in 2024.
According to OMA statistics, 157,988 domestic and international travelers arrived, compared to 170,777 in the same month in 2024.
The breakdown indicates that 124,505 passengers were domestic, while 129,263 domestic passengers arrived in 2024.
In the case of international passengers, 33,483 were recorded in April, compared to 41,514 in the same month in 2024.
The cumulative total from January to April 2025 totaled 638,071 domestic and international passengers, compared to 664,0339 in the same period last year.
Of that total, 160,745 passengers arrived at the airport in January, 142,321 in February, 177,017 passengers in March, and 157,988 in the same period in 2024.
The North Central Airport Group (OMA) reported that the number of terminal passengers transported at its 13 airports during March 2025 grew 18.8 percent compared to the same period in 2024.
Domestic passenger traffic increased 17.5 percent, and international passenger traffic grew 27.2 percent.
