The Cupra cars were in a parking lot next to the dealership located in Angelópolis, San Andrés Cholula, Puebla. The images show the vehicles left on wall after the tires were stolen.
The cars’ rims and tires were missing. According to local media, agency personnel went to file a complaint with the Puebla Attorney General’s Office. Upon arriving at the parking lot, they noticed the security cameras were gone.
Tire Theft in Figures…
The theft at the Cupra dealership in Puebla could amount to 2 million pesos. It is estimated that at least 16 cars were stripped of their tires and rims, totaling 64 parts. The auto parts were allegedly stolen for sale on the black market.
Crimes in the State
Recently, citizens have reported the increase in crime in the state.
A recent example was the case of the equipment stolen from Los Ángeles Azules on the Mexico-Puebla highway. Early yesterday morning, the Puebla Attorney General’s Office recovered the instruments on a dirt road.
“As a result of intelligence work, the Puebla State Attorney General’s Office recovered instruments and audio equipment belonging to a musical group in the community of San Rafael Tlanalapan, part of the municipality of San Martín Texmelucan. These instruments were reported stolen in Ixtapaluca, State of Mexico, and are valued at approximately 8 million pesos,” the Puebla Attorney General’s Office said.
