During a tour of the southern part of the state, the Governor of Nuevo León, Samuel García, supervised the construction of the Interserrana Highway.
The state governor toured the work on Section 3 of this megaproject, which crosses Highway 57 in the municipality of Galeana, which is 86 percent complete.
What will this part of the Interserrana Highway feature?
This section of highway will have four bridges, which García Sepúlveda highlighted for the distribution of heavy-duty vehicles, as well as the advantages of this new road.
The section that will connect Highway 57 is already well underway. Those coming from Nuevo León to Highway 57 will either go to Saltillo or to San Luis Potosí, Mexico City.
For his part, the Undersecretary of Infrastructure, José Ibargüengoytia, explained that work is underway to complete the three interchanges.
Additionally, asphalt paving will be laid on the bridges and ramps in the coming days, with the completion of this first section expected to take approximately three months.
What other points of the Interserrana Highway project were supervised?
The second point the authorities visited was near the Ejido Tokio, in front of the Civil Force detachment, which has 300 personnel, as well as a helicopter and Black Mambas.
At the bridge over the river at kilometer 73, García Sepúlveda explained that, at this point, they are awaiting the necessary permits for construction and work is underway on water channels.
Finally, he toured the bridge at the Aramberri junction, also known as the “Y” de Arriba.
Which municipalities in Nuevo León will the Interserrana Highway connect?
This high-spec A4 highway will have four lanes, two in each direction, and will run through the municipalities of:
Galeana
Hualahuises
Iturbide
Linares
Montemorelos
Rayones
And will be 87 kilometers long.
