The winery earned four bronze medals for its Sauvignon Blanc 2024, Piedra de Oro 2022, Merlot 2021, and Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 labels, also ranking second in Mexico in this international competition.
The IWSC, founded in 1969 by German chemist Anton Massel, is considered one of the world’s most influential competitions in the wine and spirits industry. Each year, a panel of experts in London evaluates thousands of labels from more than 50 countries, recognizing excellence in flavor, quality, and production.
The recognition of Viñedo San Miguel also places Guanajuato on the international wine map, highlighting the growth and potential of the vineyards in Mexico’s Bajío region.
