In an effort to attract internationally renowned events to San Luis Potosí, the Potosí Business Center is hosting the “American Horse Expo,” which will host a variety of events in our state on June 2 and 3.
There, Carla Arceo, president of Criadores CM México (CCCM), confirmed her participation and emphasized that this association was founded with the goal of promoting and fostering the use and breeding of Quarter Horses in Mexico. “We organize, participate in, and validate equestrian events across various disciplines, grant national and international recognition, manage registrations through AQHA and APHA, and keep statistics on accumulated funds.”
The event also features the participation of AQHA International (American Quarter Horse Association), which holds the largest breed registry in the world for this versatile category, known for its speed and performance in various disciplines, such as racing, rodeo, and equestrian shows.
The San Luis Potosí event is held within the framework of the American Horse Expo, where interesting conferences were held this Monday, with the participation of breeders and ranches from across the country. It is an exhibition of American-bred horses, with demonstrations of dressage, jumping, and other equine activities.

There will also be an American Horse Expo in Guadalajara, Jalisco, on June 5 and 6. In addition to the American Horse Expo, there are other important horse-related events, such as the Provincial Horse Festival in Chubut, Argentina, and the International Festival. Regarding AQHA, it was emphasized that it “serves and supports international members and affiliated organizations through the implementation of innovative programs and services that adapt to a diverse set of needs, enhancing the value of maintaining AQHA membership worldwide.”
