A total of 13 people were arrested during a series of simultaneous searches carried out in 18 homes in the municipalities of Querétaro and El Marqués, as part of the Synergy strategy, led by the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) in coordination with federal and municipal forces.
Members of the Criminal Investigation Police, as well as members of the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC), the municipal police forces of Querétaro and El Marqués, the National Guard, and the Mexican Army participated in the operation.
Of those arrested, seven were detained on arrest warrants related to domestic violence, malicious damage, attempted homicide, and aggravated robbery. Six others were arrested for their alleged involvement in public health crimes.
The searches were carried out in various neighborhoods and communities, including La Gotera, Montenegro, San Miguelito, Bolaños, Las Rosas, Santa Cruz, San José Navajas, San Roque, El Pedregal, Loma Bonita, and Cerrito Colorado, among others.
During the investigation, a vehicle reported stolen was also recovered as part of the ongoing investigation.
