The Taco and Michelada Festival will be held in Tlaxco next Sunday, June 15th, in celebration of Father’s Day. The event will begin at 9:00 a.m. and will feature a wide range of food and music.
During the official presentation, Enrique Morales, Director of Municipal Government, thanked the Mayor, Diana Terrejón, for her support of the event. He also highlighted the coordinated work between the taco vendors’ committee, the Municipal Police, and the Tlaxco community, emphasizing that these types of activities strengthen the local economy and directly support the restaurant industry.
Alejandro, president of the taco vendors’ committee, reported that the event is open to the public and will feature tacos of various styles: al pastor, Arabe, suadero, campechano, tripa, and cabeza de res, among others. In addition, space will be provided for other food vendors, ensuring a diverse offering for attendees.
He also assured that the event complies with the necessary safety measures and that, in addition to micheladas, other traditional drinks such as pulque will be available.
The event will feature a musical performance by Los Askis, a group aimed specifically at parents, according to Ricardo Morales, head of publicity. He also thanked the sponsors, the automotive brand BYD and Tortillería Vero, for their support.
The taco committee, also comprised of Apriano, reiterated its invitation to all citizens to attend the festival and be part of an event that boosts the local economy and family life.
The Taco and Michelada Festival will take place on June 15th, starting at 9:00 a.m., in Tlaxco. The event is free, open to the public, and security is guaranteed.
