With a display of more than 150 sweets, the traditional Dulce Coleto exhibition is being held at the San Cristóbal Museum (Musac) as part of the Corpus Christi celebration, the main day of which is June 19th.

Organizers announced that the sale will take place from this Wednesday to Sunday, June 22nd, from 8:00 am to 11:00 pm.

For five days, visitors can enjoy the sale of traditional, handcrafted Dulce Coleto, a tradition that dates back more than 60 years.

The main objective of the exhibition is to showcase the artisanal works of the colonial city’s confectioners, highlighting the traditional sweets that are part of San Cristóbal’s rich gastronomy and have been passed down from generation to generation.

58 artisans participate in the exhibition with a display of more than 150 types of handmade sweets.

Among the delicacies you can find are: flavored milk, nuégados (sweetened condensed milk), breaded condensed milk, coconut condensed milk, baked coconut, coconut condensed milk, traditional pastries, and candied fruits such as chilacayote (a type of sweet potato), sweet peach, raisin, figs, and cupapés, among others.
