The Green Angels respond to calls to 078 or via the app with timely, quality, and free service. So far this holiday season, they have provided more than 2,000 services to roadside visitors in the state.

Benjamín Hernández Rodríguez, Secretary of Tourism in Tamaulipas, emphasized that “with the goal of guaranteeing the safety, integrity, and well-being of the people of Tamaulipas, as well as visitors during the 2025 summer vacation period, a broad deployment of personnel and units is being implemented throughout the state, at the direction of Governor Américo Villarreal Anaya.”

This includes federal and state forces, as well as the Red Cross, Civil Protection, CRUM, and the Green Angels.

“The Green Angels have 18 mobile units available to provide mechanical assistance, tourist guidance, and roadside assistance to motorists traveling on the state’s main highways,” the official said.

109 mechanical services have been provided, along with additional tourist information services for men and women who enjoy traveling the roads.

He concluded that comprehensive service on both roads and at tourist destinations, along with improved safety, has strengthened travelers’ confidence in the state.
