Querétaro Municipal Public Safety Secretary Juan Luis Ferrusca reported that the operational capacity of the 911 emergency system increased by 36% with the addition of 20 new personnel.
He explained that all personnel in the area are certified under the EC1274 standard, specializing in handling emergency calls.
With this, he said, response times have been reduced by an average of 11 minutes in various boroughs and service has been strengthened in the Historic Center. He also noted that the call for interested citizens to join both the 911 and video surveillance departments is still open.
