Nacional Gasolinero and PetroIntelligence released gasoline prices in Mexico this Thursday, August 28. The average price of Magna is 23.61 pesos per liter, while Premium is 25.67 pesos per liter, and Diesel is 26.24 pesos per liter.

The cheapest gasoline prices nationwide

The cheapest gasoline is sold in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, at 18.50 pesos per liter; Zapopan, Jalisco, at 22.29 pesos per liter; Tepic, Nayarit, at 22.59 pesos per liter; Cuauhtémoc, Mexico City, at 22.59 pesos per liter; San Luis Potosí, at 22.79 pesos per liter; Aguascalientes, at 22.79 pesos per liter; Torreón, Coahuila, with 22.89 pesos per liter; and Colima, Colima, with 22.90 pesos per liter.

Price of Magna, Premium, and Diesel in Mexico City Today

In Mexico City (CDMX), the average price of Magna gasoline in the Mexican capital is 23.50 pesos per liter, while that of Premium gasoline is 25.85 pesos per liter; diesel is 25.86 pesos per liter.

The cheapest Magna gasoline is sold at the gas station located at Avenida del Peñón 30, Venustiano Carranza (Shell), at 22.19 pesos per liter; on the other hand, the most expensive is sold at the gas station located at Calzada Xochimilco Tulyehualco 58 in the Xochimilco borough, at 23.89 pesos per liter.

In the case of Premium gasoline, the cheapest is sold at the gas station located at Calzada Peña y Peña 86 in the Venustiano Carranza borough, at 22.47 pesos per liter. The most expensive is sold at the gas station at Santo Tomás 11 in the Azcapotzalco borough, at 26.19 pesos per liter.

The cheapest diesel is sold at the gas station located on Avenida Carlos León, near the International Airport in the Venustiano Carranza borough, at 22.39 pesos per liter; while the most expensive is located at Labradores 102 in the same borough, at 24.79 pesos per liter.

How and where can I report high gasoline prices?

The Federal Consumer Protection Agency (Profeco) reminds consumers that they can report gas stations that sell gasoline at prices higher than those established by the Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE).

To file a complaint, consumers can visit the Profeco website (https://www.gob.mx/profeco) or call 55 55 68 87 22.

Gas prices in Mexico remain high, despite the decline in international oil prices; however, they cannot be any higher.
