San Luis Potosí strengthened its presence in international markets by participating in the USA-Canada-Mexico Trade Mission, held in the nation’s capital, with the participation of more than 100 companies from the United States and Canada.
The head of the Ministry of Economic Development, Jesús Salvador González Martínez, held B2B meetings with companies from different sectors there, with the goal of attracting investment and generating links that will allow San Luis Potosí to integrate into global value chains. A B2B (Business-to-Business) event is a meeting or activity where companies network to establish contacts, generate business deals, present products or services, and learn about new industry trends.
The state official outlined the state’s competitive advantages in terms of connectivity, workforce talent, and industrial growth, in addition to highlighting the potential of Expo Potosí Industrial 2025 as a showcase for innovation and opportunities for foreign capital.
These actions reflect the current state administration’s vision that San Luis Potosí must consolidate its position as a competitive destination for foreign investment, generating jobs and building unlimited strategic alliances.
Given this, he added, the trade mission not only seeks to attract new industrial plants but also to strengthen local supply and diversify investment sectors, ensuring the state’s sustained growth in the Central-Bajío region and a greater presence in North America.
Finally, González Martínez stated that with these types of meetings, San Luis Potosí confirms its strategy of economic openness and international cooperation, positioning itself as a reliable partner for trade and investment in the context of the USMCA.
