The third round of the 2025 National Off-Road Championship was adrenaline-filled in the municipality of Rioverde, with 30 drivers participating, including the best from San Luis Potosí and Nuevo León.
The competition took place in the community of San Francisco on a 90-kilometer per-lap circuit, featuring wide and narrow roads, long curves, winding roads, rocky slopes, mud from the nearby rains, and talus (a part of the attraction) and vegetation. The top categories completed three laps and the lower categories completed only two.
Thus, few could conquer the Rioverde Desert, while others were absorbed by Mother Earth. The official winners of the third round were as follows:
FREE CLASS: First place Juanal Duarte from San Luis Potosí; second place Antonio Bear from San Luis Potosí. CLASS 16: First place Roy Sandoval from Nuevo León; second place Adrián González Jr. from Guanajuato; 3rd place Fernando Álvarez from the USA.
CLASS 5 FREE: First place Juan González from Guanajuato; 2nd place Antonio Espronceda from Nuevo León; and 3rd place Jesús Flores from Nuevo León. CLASS 12: First place Miguel Pablo from Nuevo León; 2nd place Yadira Morales from Nuevo León; 3rd place Juan Duarte from San Luis Potosí.
CLASS 9: First place Kevin López from San Luis Potosí; 2nd place Bruno Torres from San Luis Potosí; 3rd place Emiliano Moreno from Guanajuato. CLASS 5 / 1600: First place Claudia Hernández from Nuevo León; 2nd place Edson Valenzuela from Coahuila; 3rd place Braulio Torres from San Luis Potosí.
At the end, the mayor of Rioverde and his wife led the awards ceremony, where colorful trophies were presented. Drivers from Coahuila, Nuevo León, Guanajuato, San Luis Potosí, and the United States were invited to the fourth qualifying round on October 18 and 19 in Nuevo León, the penultimate round of the 2025 season.
