With the exception of the municipality of San Ignacio, the traditional “Grito de Independencia” festival will be celebrated in the remaining nineteen municipalities. Therefore, in the case of Culiacán, 156 urban buses will be available to provide free transportation service to attendees.
Marco Antonio Osuna Moreno, head of the State Roads and Transportation Department, explained that the free transportation service, which will begin at 4:00 p.m., will cover 52 routes in the state capital.
There will be three buses on each route, providing continuous service until the last passenger, so that families can attend the “Grito de Independencia” (Cry of Independence) event at the Government Palace, where Miguel Bosé, Marisela y el Coyote and his band, among other artists, will perform.
