With the goal of ensuring a safe and top-notch event, the organizers of the 2025 Mazatlán Grand Marathon held an operational and logistical meeting with municipal authorities at Mazatlán City Hall.
During the meeting, key issues such as security, traffic, medical services, public services, civil protection, sanitation, and traffic management were reviewed, with the aim of coordinating inter-institutional efforts to offer runners, attendees, and the Mazatlán community a comprehensive experience.
The 2025 Mazatlán Grand Marathon finalizes logistical and security details. The meeting was led by Paúl Luque Wiley, Director of Espectáculos Costa del Pacífico, and Yolanda Portillo, Logistics and Operations Manager, along with representatives from municipal and state agencies that will actively participate in the organization.
The importance of collaboration between agencies was emphasized to maintain the tradition of one of Mazatlán’s most important sporting events, which brings together thousands of national and international athletes each year.
Mazatlán Grand Marathon 2025 Finalizes Logistics and Security Details
The 24th annual Chevron Mazatlán Grand Marathon will be held from November 28th to 30th, with an expected 8,000 participants. The main event will take place on Avenida Leonismo, and on Sunday the 30th, the sporting festivities will move to the Malecón (Mazatlán boardwalk).
The meeting included representatives from Public Services, Parks and Gardens, Urban Cleaning, Public Works, the Mazatlán Municipal Institute of Culture and Art (IMDEM), the Mazatlán Institute of Culture and Art, Volunteer Firefighters, Civil Protection, Public Safety, Municipal Transit, the Naval Military Zone, the Military Region, and the National Guard, who will join forces to ensure the event’s success.
