Puebla now has a direct flight to Guadalajara, operated by Volaris, thus strengthening connectivity with western Mexico.
This route not only boosts business and leisure tourism but also establishes a vital air bridge connecting to destinations in the United States and Central America through the Guadalajara hub.

The new connectivity includes a daily morning flight and an afternoon flight available on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, with an average duration of 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Morning Flight (Daily):
Guadalajara – Puebla: Departs 7:00 a.m., arrives 8:19 a.m.
Puebla – Guadalajara: Departs 8:54 a.m., arrives 10:19 a.m.
Evening Flight (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday):
Guadalajara – Puebla: Departs 6:21 p.m., arrives 7:40 p.m.
Puebla – Guadalajara: Departs 8:18 p.m., arrives 9:43 p.m.
During the inaugural flight, Jorge Roberto García Rojas, Director of Distribution and Market Development for Volaris, highlighted the impact of this route on Hermanos Serdán Airport.
“This new connection will strengthen the economic and commercial development of both destinations, integrating business tourism, sports, culture, and gastronomy,” he stated.
García Rojas highlighted the synergy between the two cities: “Puebla is one of Mexico’s most emblematic regions, renowned for its automotive, textile, and agribusiness industries.

The executive added that this route joins the two others Volaris already operates from Puebla: Cancún and Tijuana. The airline, which began operations in the state in 2007, has transported more than 4.1 million passengers to and from the state through August 2025.
“In 2024 alone, we have already transported more than 400,000 passengers, representing 40% of our operations at this time of year,” he stated.
For his part, the Secretary of Economic Development and Labor, Víctor Gabriel Chedraui, emphasized that this new flight is part of a comprehensive strategy to strengthen Puebla’s connectivity with the world and boost the regional economy.
The Guadalajara-Puebla route is now available for purchase through Volaris’ digital channels, with special promotions for travelers looking to explore Guadalajara and connect from there to other national and international destinations.
