The state capital will open its doors to the world on November 13 and 14 with the Czech Republic – Zacatecas International Festival, an event that will bring together the best of art, culture, and international cooperation between Mexico and the Czech Republic.
For two days, residents and visitors alike can enjoy a diverse program that includes exhibitions, film, music, and gastronomy, with the aim of strengthening ties of friendship and fostering artistic and educational exchange between the two nations.
The activities will begin on Thursday, November 13, with the Cultural Photography Exhibition at the Citadel of Art at 6:00 p.m., followed by a screening of contemporary Czech cinema at 7:30 p.m. A Gastronomic and Folklore Showcase will also be offered, where the public can discover and sample the rich culinary traditions of the Czech Republic.
On Friday, November 14, the program continues with a Music Masterclass at the BUAZ School of Music at 12:00 p.m., taught by renowned Czech artists. In the afternoon, violinist Olga Arribas Quintana and pianist David Dumat will present a Classical Music Concert at the Municipal House of Culture at 6:00 p.m.
The Czech Republic – Zacatecas International Festival represents not only an artistic celebration but also a bridge of cultural exchange that reaffirms Zacatecas as a city open to the world. Through art, music, film, and gastronomy, this event consolidates the capital city as a benchmark for cultural exchange, where history, identity, and friendship between peoples come alive.
