Fonatur Publishes List of Lots for Direct Sale in Huatulco, Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo, and Loreto
Today, the publication of lots for the 2025 Direct Sale program began through a transparent and accessible digital catalog for interested parties, aiming to promote productive investment.
This initiative contributes to boosting local economies, attracting new projects, and consolidating Fonatur’s role in Mexico’s sustainable tourism development. With an innovative interactive map designed to provide transparency and clarity, the National Fund for Tourism Development (Fonatur) published the list of the first lots included in the 2025 Direct Sale, an institutional action aimed at the responsible and transparent use of the Mexican government’s tourism assets.
Starting today, the Fund is making the digital catalog available to the public with complete information on the available lots, including area, starting price, land use, and georeferenced location.
The publication will be phased in and will allow interested parties to learn about the purchase process, including its stages, requirements, and guidelines for submitting bids.
Each property has a complete technical and legal file that certifies its ownership and authorized use, as well as an appraisal conducted by the National Institute for the Administration and Appraisal of Assets (Indaabin), guaranteeing certainty and asset security for interested parties.
As part of the implemented improvements, the process incorporates measures for administrative simplification, digitalization, and transparency, eliminating unnecessary burdens and facilitating more agile and direct participation.
In this way, investors can consult the catalog, compare options, and submit their bids without intermediaries.
The Direct Sale of Lots is an instrument that promotes responsible land management, encourages productive investment, and strengthens regional development with a long-term vision. This initiative contributes to boosting local economies, attracting new projects, and consolidating Fonatur’s role in the country’s sustainable tourism development.
