It was reported that through the Tabscoob Special Group, in coordination with the FIRT Olmeca, eight men were arrested as alleged perpetrators of crimes against the General Health Law and possession of a firearm restricted to the Mexican Army, in the municipality of Macuspana.
In a statement, the State Government detailed that the events occurred in the vicinity of the San Joseíto neighborhood in the town of Francisco I. Madero, in the municipality of Macuspana, when police officers arrested Juan Carlos “N” (a) “El Diablo,” 28 years old; a 17-year-old minor; Víctor Manuel “N” (a) “El Chaparro,” 19 years old; Denis “N” (a) “Nacho,” 25 years old; and Victoriano “N” (a) “Cadena,” 33 years old—all of whom are originally from Guatemala.
Also arrested were Francisco Isamir “N” (a) “Catracho” and/or “El Lagrima,” 33 years old, originally from Honduras; Abel “N” (a) “El Espíri,” 38 years old, originally from Macuspana, Tabasco; and Fernando “N” (a) “El R” and/or “Fresa,” 21 years old, also originally from Macuspana.
During the operation, the following items were seized from the detainees: a black KOR FX-9 RP 9×19 pistol with one metal magazine and nine rounds; a black SIG SAUER .223 rifle with one magazine and eight rounds; a green 9mm pistol with one magazine and ten rounds; a black and gray 9x19mm pistol with one black magazine containing seven rounds; and a green MADE IN TURKIYE AGAOGLU INC. CO. pistol. FX-9 RP GUA KOR 9X19; plus a magazine with 18 rounds of ammunition; four black tactical vests without license plates; one purple FT150 motorcycle, without license plates or registration; and one white 1997 Chrysler Caravan minivan, with no reported theft.
“They were found in possession of a green, dried herb with characteristics similar to marijuana, distributed in clear plastic wrappers and three large bags,” reported the SSPC (Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection).
The detainees and all the seized items were turned over to the appropriate authorities for further investigation.
