An American tourist drowned off the coast of Playa Caribe Condominiums in Tulum.
The deceased, identified as 62-year-old Joseph from Missouri, was rescued by Civil Protection personnel and paramedics.
Despite resuscitation efforts, they were unable to save his life. Preliminary reports from the scene indicate no signs of foul play.
