Gray fox rescued and sent to rehabilitation in Hidalgo

Personnel from the Civil Protection Directorate of Mineral de la Reforma rescued a gray fox that had entered a warehouse in the La Providencia subdivision.

According to the report, private security guards from a company alerted authorities after locating the animal inside the building. Upon arriving at the scene, rescuers confirmed the fox’s presence and requested assistance from the Animal Rehabilitation Center, where it was evaluated and found to be severely dehydrated.

The fox was taken to the Wildlife Rehabilitation Unit, which will continue its recovery and later release it back into its natural habitat.
