The LX edition of the Super Bowl, which will face the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks, will generate an estimated economic spill of 400 million pesos in the city, according to Alejandro Lazzarotto Rodríguez, president of Canaco. The greatest impact will be concentrated in restaurants, bars, supermarkets, and the sale of official or thematic products of the event, even exceeding the spillover recorded on dates such as Valentine’s Day.
The Confederation of National Chambers of Commerce, Services and Tourism (Concanaco Servytur) forecasts that at the national level, the Super Bowl will generate 56 billion pesos in consumption, an increase of 12% compared to 2025. The most benefited businesses will be restaurants, bars, convenience stores, self-service and streaming platforms, as well as production chains linked to food, such as avocado exports. In Chihuahua, restaurants and food apps report a 15% increase in demand during the broadcast of the game, while reservations are sold out days in advance. (In Black and White)
